But, if you are working with the older Cricut models including Cricut Explore and Cricut Explore one, you need to purchase a Bluetooth adapter. When you’re ready, let’s start with the connection steps.

Windows

As a Windows user, you can easily connect your Cricut via Bluetooth. Follow the steps below and continue with the connection process.

  1. To start, ensure that your Cricut product is only 10-15 feet away from your PC.
  2. Also, make sure that both your devices are ON.
  3. Now, check your PC for the Bluetooth feature.
  4. To check the Bluetooth feature, launch the Device Manager and search for the Bluetooth Radios option. (Note: If your machine doesn’t have the Bluetooth feature, get a Bluetooth adapter from the market).
  1. After that, open the Control Panel on your PC and head to the Devices and Printers option.
  2. Next, click on the Add a device/Add a Bluetooth device option.
  1. Allow your PC to recognize your Cricut machine.
  2. Select the Bluetooth option and start the pairing process.
  3. If the window asks you to enter the PIN code as “0000.”

  2. After that, open the Bluetooth option. If you see it off, turn it on.
  3. On the next screen, select your Cricut model from the devices list.

  5. Next, enter “0000” in the prompt box and hit the Pair option.
  6. Lastly, both devices will be paired successfully.

  2. Now, open the Settings option.

  2. Now, your iOS device will start the pairing process.
  3. Next, enter the PIN code as “0000” and hit the Done button.

  1. Next, choose your Bluetooth device’s name and allow the pairing to begin.
  2. When your system asks you for the PIN, type “0000” or “1234” and hit the Done button.
